Job Specification – Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Our finance team is looking for an Accounting Manager to support Finance Team. The role will be based around bookkeeping and accounting including: perform reconciliations of intercompany and agents, assist with month-end accounting close etc.

We are looking for a candidate who is very well organised with a sense for prioritisation and enjoys working in a fast-paced busy team who is looking to utilise their ambition and previous studies, but now gain exposure to further areas of bookkeeping and accounting in a global environment.

Role Responsibilities

· Prepare and record accurate and timely journal entries within SAP

· Assist with month-end accounting close to ensure deadlines are met and all items are recorded in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS

· Prepare and review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations

· Assist with budget management

· Manage & oversee company’s receivables and payables

· Processing intercompany transactions and liaising with oversea offices to ensure accuracy

· Perform reconciliations of intercompany accounts on monthly basis

· Processing agents’ transactions and liaising with agents to ensure accuracy

· Perform reconciliations of agents’ accounts on monthly basis

· Ensure the completeness and accuracy of intercompany and agents accounts

· Ensure that all requests and queries are timely processed and answered making sure that all deadlines are met

· Other ad hoc tasks as required

Person specification:

· Previous experience with the SAP accounting package is a plus

· Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting

· High level organisational skills

· Accuracy and attention to detail

· Good organisational and communication skills

· Ability to manage different tasks and priorities

· Ability to detect inconsistencies

· Experience in a multi-currency environment

· Medium level Excel (Vlookup, Pivot tables etc)

Qualifications

· CPA is preferred

· 5 years of accounting experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,883.00 - $56,330.00 per year
