Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR and Office Administrator to oversee all human resource
functions, payroll processing, safety compliance, as well as day to day administrative needs for our
warehouse facility in Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR and payroll
management, as well as experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
As the HR and Office Administrator for our warehouse facility, you will play a critical role in maintaining
our high standards for safety, compliance, and employee satisfaction. You will work closely with
management and other departments to ensure smooth operations and will have opportunities for

What will you do?
  1. Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures at both federal and state levels, maintain accurate employee records. Oversee the entire HR lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, ensuring alignment with labor laws while providing comprehensive support to employees. 
  2. Manage payroll processing to guarantee accurate and punctual payment of wages, overtime, and bonuses, alongside the preparation and filing of essential payroll reports, while overseeing employee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. 
  3. Ensure organizational compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting routine safety audits, inspections, and employee trainings to proactively identify and mitigate hazards, while developing and implementing safety policies aligned with OSHA standards.
  4. Assist in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse by overseeing supplies, expenses, office budgets, managing incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring a safe and comfortable working environment for all employees. Additionally, provide administrative assistance to the plant manager, including correspondence preparation, meeting scheduling, and calendar management.
Key Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR and payroll management (experience within warehouse or manufacturing environment would be preferred).
  • Associate degree in a HR-related field or an equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws, OSHA regulations, and safety compliance best practices.
  • Previous experience with HRM Software such as Rippling, Workday, Oracle, Paycor or similar, as well as payroll processing software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
