The Payment Poster is responsible for overseeing the payment intake and post payments reconciliation processes. In this role, the Payment Poster will manually and electronically process and post a high volume of billing statements while updating account adjustments and keeping records of account standings.
Duties:
Qualifications:
GED/Highschool Diploma
Strong understanding of coding systems such as ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG
Previous experience in medical billing or payment posting preferred
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient computer skills, including experience with billing software
