Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, conducting research, and maintaining case files.
Duties:
- Transcribe legal documents and correspondence
- Manage document systems and databases
- Answer and screen phone calls with professionalism
- Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations
- Assist in drafting contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Assist in project management for case preparation
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Paralegal or similar role
- Proficiency in legal research methods and software
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to draft legal documents accurately
- Knowledge of project management principles in a legal setting
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
