Title: Mechanical Engineer

Type: Fulltime (Direct Hire)

Job Description:

• Mechanical Engineer experienced in design and analysis for Military or Commercial Line Replaceable Equipment (LRU).
• Responsibilities include: Perform failure investigations, analyze product improvements, provide technical analysis for work transfers and review part discrepancies.
• Other deliverables include continuous improvement tools, developing work instructions / standard work, and following all regulatory company procedures including thorough recording of all work to ensure traceability.
• Participate and complete actions by attending daily / weekly schedule / status meetings, or more frequently as deemed appropriate.

Skills required include:

• Modeling and drawing generation experience (SolidWorks and/or NX).
• Familiarity with aircraft Qualification and Regulatory requirements
• Strong mechanical failure analysis, product design and report writing skills required.
• Ability to work with all levels of engineering, and management personnel and capable of positively interacting in a team environment.
• Familiarity with DO-160 or MIL-STD-810 is desirable
• Familiarity with helicopter subsystems highly desirable
