Job Description Procurement Manager

NPC Global is a distribution company in Carteret NJ looking to add a Procurement Manager to our expanding team!

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

  • Engage with and provide feedback to the individuals on the procurement team
  • Maintain a comfortable level of familiarity with vendors and all buying sources
  • Negotiating and maintaining supplier agreements
  • Identifying potential supplier sources
  • Conducting interviews with potential vendors
  • Creating and maintaining key performance indicators for the team

Requirements:

  • Financial and numerical skills
  • High-level of attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional talent in negotiating and networking
  • Solid knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to foster strong supplier relationships
