NPC Global is a distribution company in Carteret NJ looking to add a Procurement Manager to our expanding team!
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
- Engage with and provide feedback to the individuals on the procurement team
- Maintain a comfortable level of familiarity with vendors and all buying sources
- Negotiating and maintaining supplier agreements
- Identifying potential supplier sources
- Conducting interviews with potential vendors
- Creating and maintaining key performance indicators for the team
Requirements:
- Financial and numerical skills
- High-level of attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional talent in negotiating and networking
- Solid knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to foster strong supplier relationships
