Job Description for Material Handlers

Impackt Packaging Solutions is a manufacturing/distribution company in West Hazleton, PA looking to add Material Handlers to our expanding team!

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

• Comply with all manufacturing/warehouse safety rules and guidelines
• Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries
• Label all product and store accordingly
• Identify and locate the right products for our shipping and manufacturing processes
• Keep a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory
• Handle returns by completing technical documentation and other required communication
• Keep all material handling equipment in the best condition by completing daily checklists
• Convey purchasing requirements and keep data on the availability of products in short supply
• Collaborate with internal departments to problem solve inventory discrepancies

Requirements

• 1 - 5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting
• Experience in operating material handling equipment preferred
• Inventory control
• Organization and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Certification in forklift operation
• Knowledge of operating other warehouse machinery
