ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Complies with all EHS policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Read, understand, and follow SOPs
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all Bucketwash equipment
• Inspect and clean all sizes of pots and totes
• Operate a fork lift
• Ability to work with solvent for cleaning purposes
• Maintain required records
• Able to work all shifts and weekends
• Move waste from generation point to 90-day Storage Area
• Properly close and label waste containers using NB Coatings procedures

Training:

• General Employee Training (Annual)
• Hazardous Waste / RCRA Training (Annual)
• DOT General Awareness Training (Every 3 years)

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR CERTIFICATION
• High School Diploma
• Must be able to wear the appropriate PPE, including respirator
• Strong Multitasking Skill Set
• Strong initiative

COMMUNICATION SKILLS• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries, and/or complaints
• Displays courtesy, tact and respect when dealing with others.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES• Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to wear a respirator/all necessary PPE – including being clean shaven for respirator use
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships; demonstrates a commitment to teamwork
• Maintains a strong attention to detail
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Ability to work any shift hours and overtime in order to meet the needs of the business.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Must be clean shaved(mustache allowed) below upper lip for respirator use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, the ability to focus, and the ability to see color.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Employee experiences constant interruptions and inflexible deadlines. The noise-level in this environment is moderate to loud. Duties are performed mostly indoors and at times outdoors. Out-of-town travel required as necessary for training and/or to carry out duties and responsibilities.
