Position Summary:

• Primary functions include assembly, packaging, and labeling of in vitro diagnostic test devices and test kits as well as support activities such as cleaning and sanitization of manufacturing areas, equipment, and supplies. Also, troubleshooting problems regarding the manufacturing process.
• May aid in the validation of new pieces of equipment and revalidation of various manufacturing processes.
• May be full time or part time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Manufacture products in accordance with approved work instructions, complete all required documentation, and clean area.
• Become qualified to set up and work independently on assigned manufacturing processes.
• Assist in validation of new equipment and revalidation of older equipment.
• Understand manufacturing processes and be able to troubleshoot problems during manufacturing.
• Complete all training within the timeframes scheduled.
• Be punctual to work schedules.
• Collect the requested samples for QC inspection and approval.
• Report to supervisor any issues with the equipment, materials, or processes.
• Keep training up to date in accordance with training schedules.
• Must be able to read and follow the manufacturing procedures.
• Able to follow instructions.

Education:

• Minimum B.Sc. in a science related field
