ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT
Supports a culture of safe production and operations; follows all safety rules and procedures. Actively participates in the safety program by: engaging in training activities to learn what constitutes a safety hazard; reporting safety concerns to the supervisor, submitting safety suggestions, and correcting or reporting to the appropriate people when an employee sees a workplace health or safety hazard, until it is resolved. Assists with communicating safety information to new employees. Fulfills responsibilities as outlined in the company safety management plan.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively to coworkers and supervisors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, addition, subtraction, multiplication, decimals, and measurements.
REASONING ABILITY
Excellent problem solving skills required.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Basic computer skills required. Must have ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment. Excellent interpersonal and listening skills required. Must demonstrate an understanding of the company priorities and core values and daily activities must support them. Must work effectively in a team environment, promoting cooperation and collaboration. Excellent organizational, planning and attention to detail. Initiative to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision required.
Ability to quickly understand the theory of operation in both processing and high speed packaging areas. Willingness to learn and increase technical depth through attending workshops, reviewing technical manuals, or OEM supplied training.
Ability to work other shifts and weekends and to travel to other facilities.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
