Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Service Outreach Associate to join our team. As a Service Associate, you will play a crucial role in conducting outreach in the community as needed reaching out to potential doctors' offices to solicit referrals for the services we render. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:

- Provide social work services to individuals and families, including counseling and resource referrals

- Market and promote our services to the community
- Develop and implement programs to meet the needs of our clients

- Supervise and mentor volunteers, ensuring they are properly trained and supported

- Manage social media platforms to raise awareness about our organization and its services

- Educate clients on various topics such as public health, addiction counseling, and mental health

- Assist with recruiting and training new volunteers

- Conduct public speaking engagements to promote our organization's mission and services

- Collaborate with community partners to enhance service delivery and expand resources

Requirements:

- High School Diploma

- Previous experience in social work or a related field is highly desirable

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Must have a valid Maryland State Driver’s license

- Must have a valid CPR Certification

- Proficient in social media management and other relevant software applications

- Knowledge of public health practices and community resources

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
