Experience: 

For candidates who possess the necessary qualifications, we are open to considering individuals with a background in hands-on RF Engineering or Electronics/Electrical Engineering, provided they hold an active Polygraph clearance.

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in TEMPEST testing, design, or engineering.

• TEMPEST certification at the Certified TEMPEST Professional Level II.

• Active TS/SCI clearance with FS Polygraph required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure Equipment Under Test (EUT) enclosures in compliance with government specifications.

• Proficiently conduct TEMPEST testing using established methods and signal analysis techniques.

• Thoroughly document all test results and address any concerns that arise during testing.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve Emanation Security (EMSEC) vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with TEMPEST vendors to ensure seamless testing processes.

• Perform ambient measurements during test setup.

• Capture, analyze, and interpret qualification test data and results, preparing comprehensive reports.

• Collaborate with project teams to assess products in accordance with the National Security Information Technology Systems Security Assessment Manual (NSITSSAM).

• Validate TEMPEST test requirements in line with the Customer Test and Training Architecture (CTTA).

• Attend TEMPEST meetings with crypto device users, customers, Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CSCM), and vendors.

• Conduct testing on certified cryptographic equipment to identify vulnerabilities in secure systems.

• Perform TEMPEST testing on Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) equipment to determine vulnerability extent for countermeasure purposes.

• Ensure consistent application of the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503, Intelligence Community Information Technology Systems Security Risk Management, Certification and Accreditation (IASRD).
