Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance sophisticated software systems.
Analyze user needs to derive software design and performance requirements.
Debug and refine existing software, adding new features to enhance functionality.
Recommend cutting-edge technologies and methodologies for complex software projects.
Lead technical aspects of multiple software development teams.
Choose appropriate software development processes in collaboration with the customer and system engineering teams.
Guarantee the quality of developed and modified software.
Basic Qualifications:
A minimum of 20 years of experience in software engineering within similarly scoped, complex programs and contracts.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
Alternatively, four additional years of SWE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
An Active Top Secret/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient experience with OpenSource (NoSQL) products such as Hbase/Accumulo, Big Table, etc.
At least six years of recent experience developing production software for Solaris or Linux environments.
Six years of experience in developing software using Java, C
