Join us as a Project Manager, Project Execution in North America!

In Project Execution, we work in close partnership with our operations group and regional supply base to make a improve plant productivity, increase plant capacity and assist Novonesis in operating greener.

In this role you will make an impact by:

• Directly managing capital projects to include planning, schedule development, scope preparation, budget development, staffing, design, procurement, installation, start-up, and project turnover.

• Ensuring that capital projects are planned and executed according to the Novonesis project model and handbook.

• Establishing and leading effective cross functional project teams.

• Collaborating with line of business user groups to assure that user requirements are effectively transformed into project solutions.

• Establishing effective means and methods for handling risk management, change management and stakeholder relations.

• Selecting, supervising, and coordinating the use of external engineering firms, consultants, suppliers, and contractors required for project activities and assure their work conforms to project requirements.

• Collaborating with corporate, regional & local Sourcing departments to obtain the most cost-effective project solution that meets user requirements.

• Closely following-up on project performance to assure control of quality, budget, schedule, and safety and take pro-active corrective actions when required.

• Preparing regular oral and written reports of capital project progress and status. Maintaining the appropriate flow of information and communication to project steering committees and other stakeholders.

• Performing project reviews for other departmental project managers prior to critical project milestones on their projects.

• Collaborating with NZ Supply Engineering on a regional level for capital project administration, development and execution.

• Ensuring that all project activities comply with corporate and local purchasing policies for the procurement of goods and services.

• Supporting the Novonesis Environmental policy and EQS; assuring that the environmental impact of changes to processes, equipment and materials is assessed prior to implementation.

• Performing job duties in a manner that supports Novonesis GMP, Safety, ZEAL and Quality policies and processes.

• Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Possess as a minimum a B.S. in an engineering discipline or strongly related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Proven successful performance and experience must be demonstrated in the management of capital investment projects in a processing industry.

• Knowledge and understanding of capital project management processes.

• Ability to lead cross functional teams and collaborate locally and globally within Novonesis.

• Good organizational skills and effective written and oral communication skills.

• Good analytical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.

• Self-motivated to pursue initiatives and able to prioritize tasks and time.

Expected Salary Range: $100,000-$125,000 annually
