Position Description
The Utility Worker performs a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain bathrooms, offices, lobbies, breakrooms, and other assigned areas. He or she will ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety are achieved in every area. The Utility Worker will demonstrate a positive attitude and the willingness to provide exceptional customer service, and all interactions with staff and visitors The ideal candidate for this position who is willing to work hard, be friendly and have a passion for cleaning. enjoys cleaning areas of the office, including offices, toilets and common areas as well as ensuring that the floors are clean and empty waste cans are emptied at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
General cleaning responsibilities: Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning restrooms, trash removal.

  • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
  • Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations.
  • Cleaning assigned areas during their shift.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
  • Follow all Company policies.
  • Responsible for food quality and safety
  • Embrace, participate, and follow a culture of food safety.
  • Responsible for ensuring that procedures are followed, including checks, completed documentation.
  • Adhere to Attendance guidelines.
  • Wear mandatory assigned Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.)
  • Perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to properly lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.

Requirements:

  • High school, Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
  • 1-3 years previous experience as an Environmental Service Technician.
  • Ability to read and interpret written work orders.
  • Ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Experience working with cleaning chemicals.
  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment and techniques.
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude and work well with others.
  • Know and understand the importance of safety, quality, housekeeping and teamwork.
  • Dependable and flexible when work is required in other facets of production.
  • Can work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Shift:

Training will be on 1st Shift for 3 months 7am-3pm- Monday- Friday

After training the regular shift will be overnight 11:00pm-7:00am- Sunday- Thursday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.32 - $17.34 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
