The Shipping Clerk is responsible for proactively maintaining customer shipment transactions to ensure timely and accurate product delivery and freight invoicing to customers.

• Assist with annual inventory
• Check accuracy of entry of shipments and receipts
• Communicate issues to warehouse Supervisor
• Communicate with co-workers any information that pertains to shipping
• Ensure incoming receipts are delivered in a timely manner
• Adhere to all plant safety and housekeeping policies
• Cycle counting of product inventory
• Maintain warehouse area for raw material cycle count inventories
• Plans customer orders and shipments to ensure timely, cost efficient and accurate delivery to customers
• Schedule Customer pick-ups and replenishment orders
• Oversee order planning process and confirm invoice process
• Communicate with operations team regarding scheduling conflicts and allocate orders in MRP system

• Responsible for working with Customer Service and other supporting functions to ensure all required shipping documentation is obtained prior to shipment

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be a team player with a "can do" attitude
• 3-5 years of experience in a distribution center, traffic, or a warehouse environment required
• RF Scanner experience is a plus
• Must be capable of working in hot, dusty areas
• Must be able to frequently lift and carry 50 lbs
• Must possess exceptional communication skills both oral and written and be able to read basic English
• Experience with MS Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel required
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus
