*The range provided is based on cost of living/geography and what we believe is reasonable in the market at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase, as well as long term compensation. This role involves planning, designing, and implementing security concepts in an enterprise environment using industry best practices and frameworks. Responsibilities include analyzing business and system requirements, ensuring effective security integration, and developing processes. The role anticipates future technology and business needs to create proactive solutions, keeping Novolex at the forefront of industry practices without compromising security.

• Lead incident response and provide thorough post-event analysis.
• Oversee and manage information security technologies and managed service security providers.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity in all environments (on-premises/cloud).
• Provide technical design and architectural leadership, develop cyber technology strategies, and create documentation and diagrams.
• Manage issues at scale through technology solutions, design enhancements, and automation.
• Engage with project teams to create architectural patterns, communicate security requirements, lead solution design, and implement solutions.
• Identify risks or issues with technology solutions, enhance technology capabilities, and manage potential conflicts with cyber defense tools.
• Design, develop, implement, and review security standards to ensure devices, applications, services, and products meet high security standards.
• Manage cybersecurity system/server resources for performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability.
• Perform security reviews, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
• Verify and document application, software, network, and system security postures.
• Coordinate with SecOps analysts to update rules and signatures for cyber defense applications.
• Provide security requirements for procurement documents.

• 10 years of relevant experience
• 2 years of relevant experience in Information Security Risk & Industry best practice
• Bachelor or Master degreein Computer Science or related disciplines
• Experience as an Application Security Architect is a plus
• Experience in deployment, management, and configuration, of NSM, MDR, EDR, XDR, UEM, MDM, NAC, Application Control, Phishing and Vulnerability Management solutions
• Expert Level understanding and application of networking principals in production environments
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture principles and best practices
• Knowledge of DevSecOps best practices
• Knowledgeof ISO27001, NIST, FFIEC, OSFI, etc
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• CISSP, CISA, CRISC, SABSA, CCSP, CCSK, etc.
• Product Management Methodologies and its applicability to successfully deliver technical changes
• Understanding and problem-solving ability of Information Technology across various scale, degree, dimension of complexity - in-depth
• Experience working in a highly complex environment
