The PositionIT Architecture at NNI is responsible for supporting solution & project implementation, by maintaining an enterprise-wide view and a deep understanding of technology and business needs. The IT Architect will ensure that new technology solutions effectively establish new business capabilities and that current solutions are fully optimized.
Responsibilities for this position include: Evaluating new technical solutions for appropriate business, technology, and architectural fit within Novo Nordisk. Evaluating new technologies in support of Novo Nordisks business. Understand the relationships between business processes within Novo Nordisk, and how technology is and can be leveraged for greater effectiveness. Support the standardization of platforms and interfaces across systems, including user identity, APIs, and automation.
RelationshipsAs the Solution Architect reporting to the Lead of the Digital Solutions Team, your role involves dynamic collaboration with clients through brainstorming sessions, leading to the creation of mockups and prototypes. You will be responsible for designing user interface wireframes, future state process flows, as well as future state system and platform interfaces. This creative process will enable the visualization and implementation of innovative solutions that align with client needs and business objectives.

Essential Functions
- Solution Design and Development:
- Lead the design and development of solutions using Power Platform and automation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technological capabilities
- Create and maintain Azure Dev Ops user stories, solution design documentation, including architecture diagrams, data models, and system specifications
- Technical Advisory and Leadership:
- Support the team of developers by providing technical guidance and recommendations, serving as a resource for insights on the strategic utilization of Power Platform and automation to enhance business efficiency and drive innovation
- Demonstrate thought leadership in the domain of Power Platform and automation, actively contributing to the creation of technical roadmaps and solution architecture frameworks, thereby empowering the developer team with a clear and innovative direction for solution building
- Business Interaction:
- Engage in frequent interaction with business stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize initiatives, and refine solution designs to align with strategic business objectives
- Conduct workshops and brainstorming sessions to gather and analyze business needs, translating them into technical specifications and solution designs
- Solution Implementation and Integration:
- Oversee the implementation of Power Platform and automation solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and alignment with enterprise architecture standards
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Power Platform and automation, integrating innovative ideas and techniques into solution designs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance existing processes and systems through automation and Power Platform capabilities
Qualifications
- Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, or related field preferred. Solid relevant experience may be substituted when appropriate
- Experience Level: A minimum of 3 years of relevant architecture or Power Platform Solutions or other related experience required
- Proficiency in Power Platform: Demonstrated experience in developing solutions using Power Apps, ChatBots and Power Automate
- Solution Design Skills: Proven ability to design and implement effective and scalable Power App solutions, considering user experience, data integration, and business requirements
- Technology Proficiency: Solid understanding of Microsoft technologies, including Power Platform, Azure, and Office 365, along with proficiency in using connectors and integrating with external data sources
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power App solutions, architecture, and integration with other systems
- Data Modeling and Integration: Experience in creating data models within Power Apps, integrating with various data sources such as SharePoint, SQL Server, and other enterprise systems
- Business Analysis Skills: Ability to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and effectively communicate with stakeholders
- Documentation and Communication: Strong documentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
