Summary of the Position : Novavax is seeking a Change Management Specialist, who has experience in a matrix organization working with many project teams, groups and working cross functionally in the development and execution of change management strategies for the organization. The Change Management (CM) specialist is an important thought leader responsible for developing and deploying change processes, standards, and templates in our Manufacturing Operations group. This role will be reporting to the Sr Manager of Project and Change Management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to : - Focus on the people side of change, applying the Prosci Methodology and ADKAR model in change management and help the business realize the outcomes of projects.
- Develop and implement change management guidelines that provide for a well-structured change management process across the enterprise.
- Provide change management services as lead consultant across a portfolio of projects and strategic initiatives within and across business functions, including people, process, and technology initiatives. May also lead change management on major projects and/or strategic initiatives. Provide day-to-day direction on change management aspects to project managers.
- Lead the development of change competency models and methodologies and embeds them in the organization with training, coaching and specific interventions; provide authoritative advice on developing or enhancing change management tools, methodology and processes to build capability across the organization to lead change and improve personal resilience; stays abreast of best practices in change management; lead evolution and continuous improvement of change methodology.
- Oversee the creation of change management plans and strategies for all projects and strategic initiatives in the functional area, incorporating communications and training.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and conduct regular meetings to collaborate, solicit feedback, and share insights as to the performance of the change practice for the business.
- Evaluate effectiveness of change efforts across the portfolio and directs change managers to adjust when necessary; develop and advise on impact and change saturation levels for the functional area to inform enterprise prioritization and sequencing of projects and initiatives.
- Monitor and review change adoption and implement resistance mitigation and reinforcement strategies.
- Facilitate change management activities with cross-functional project team members and client stakeholders to understand and ensure adoption.
Minimum Requirements : - Undergraduate degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with change management, specifically with ADKAR/PCT model
- Demonstrated project management and time management skills.
- Strong program, project and time management skills; independently set direction and prioritize activities to drive execution
- Ability to motivate and manage a cross functional project team
- Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills at all levels in an organization.
- Team-oriented attitude and ability to work collaboratively with and through others
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and bring them to a resolution
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and to adapt to changing priority schedules.
- Ability to be gown-qualified to access classified Manufacturing areas.
- Minimum 3 days onsite required
Preferred Qualifications : - 3 years of experience in biotechnology preferred
- Prosci certification preferred
- PMI (CAPM or PMP) certification preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred
