Job Description
The Service Technician is responsible for the management and completion of all service-related work with minimal guidance and must have the ability to work both independently and as a member of the service team.
Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, module cleaning, adherence to safety procedures, process improvement and innovation, electronic monitoring set-up.
A strong foundation in electrical installation, solar electrical systems, and customer service is required. This position will work primarily independently and at times with a field manager when needed.
This position may require travel and overnight stay, based on the location of projects within the region.
Emergencies- There will be occasions that demand very quick reactions such as 24-hour responses to system failures. It is expected that, on occasion, the O&M Technician will be called into work, on a weekend or previously scheduled time off, at night or on a holiday, to perform troubleshooting and repairs.
Responsibilities
Ability to drive a vehicle during the normal course of business. Must maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check.
Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
