Summary:

The position establishes financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.

Responsibilities:

• Supports month-end and year-end closing process and the production of financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

• Supports preparation of business reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.

• Follow internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.

• Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.

• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.

• Reconciles balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy of data.

• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

• Reconciles and reports Sales and Use Tax.

• Responsible for Fixed Asset Accounting.

• Other assigned tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years' experience in a related role or equivalent combination of related education and experience.

• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles.

• Strong analytical and accounting skills.

• Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.

• Epicor experience a plus.

• Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.

• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty.

• The individual will be expected to work with minimal up-front guidance and take ownership of his / her work product.

Compensation and Benefits

• The base pay for this position ranges from $71,640 to $98,505 per year depending on the geographic market.

• This position may be eligible for an annual bonus based on performance.
