Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Cardiac ICCU Unit.

 The Cardiac ICCU unit at Huntersville medical center is the primary Intensive cardiac care unit. This unit incorporates sophisticated monitoring and equipment to meet the ever-changing needs of our cardiovascular patient population. We are building our STEMI and CHEST programs within the unit. We currently have 16 beds, and the nurse-to-patient ratio is around 4:1. This unit is a great place utilize and learn new skills necessary to care for a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, Required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, Preferred. 
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, Required. BLS Healthcare Provider, ACLS Required. CCRN, PCCN, CNRN, Preferred.
• Additional Skills/Requirements (preferred): Previous applicable progressive/telemetry and/or critical care/neuro clinical experience.
