Location: Little Rock, AR
- Applies working knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks in support of loading and offloading cargo to and from MHE equipment FuT.
- Assist student classes and instructors during cargo operations in the training devices to include pushing and pulling cargo, applying and removing aircraft tie-down equipment, and other general aircraft loading requirements.
- Receives technical guidance as required from supervisor and higher-level equipment operators.
- Maintains required documentation of maintenance activities.
- Monitors and tracks the repair status of inoperative equipment and document maintenance activities.
- Documents maintenance requirements identified during operation of MHE and support equipment.
- Conducts voice communications on phone, inter-phone and radio circuits.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Competencies
- Must exhibit high performance and capability to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to drive a fork-lift, man-lift, k-loader, or other MHE Support equipment as required.
- Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents.
- Must be able to calculate figures and amounts, prices, commissions, and percentages.
- Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. An ability to interpret complex customer requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication is desirable. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings.
- Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds over head.
- Must be able to walk and/or climb stairs and ladder into a simulator or airplane cockpit.
- Must be able to stoop, bend, and crawl on top or under the device.
- Must be able to detect odors or hear noises, bangs, etc., or other sounds to detect problems or flaws in the functioning of simulators and its surrounding environment.
- Must be able to distinguish colors.
