Description

NDHC has two full time openings within its skilled nursing home and within its du Lac Assisted Living residence for a Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor. These leadership position is responsible to for the oversite and management of the Housekeeping and Laundry Department, including supervision and training of staff, department scheduling, cleaning and sanitation of all facility areas and will serve as a serve as a member of the facility management team. This position also oversees and assists in ongoing development of the standard of operation relating to cleaning processes while ensuring that cleanliness meets NDHC's high standards. The position requires inspections of rooms on a regular basis and facilitates feedback to associates on the quality of cleaning provided. This position reports to the Maintenance Department's Director of Plant Operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in housekeeping and/or laundry required.
• Minimum 1-2 years supervisor experience required including department scheduling, supervision and department training/oversite experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead a team and manage conflict required.
• This position is expected to work every other weekend.
• This position reports to the Maintenance Department's Director of Plant Operations.
• Must be flexible in hours and days available to work.

Sign-On Bonus Eligibility:

To be eligible, candidate must apply directly to an NDHC job posting (referrals from recruiters not eligible). Sign-on bonus to be paid 25% following 3-months of employment, 25% following 6-months of employment, and 50% following 12-months of employment. Must maintain full time status within the position to maintain eligibility.
