Notre Dame Federal Credit Union is Hiring a Graphic Designer Near Notre Dame, IN

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

This position assists the Marketing department with creative projects, development and distribution of marketing and sales materials, assists in the overall layout, design and production of marketing and advertising material, brochures, and other types of promotion materials for all Notre Dame FCU brands. Such design work should be in concert with the overall strategic objectives and brand personality. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include the following and are intended as general statement of duties. The specifics of each function may vary with the circumstances of each situation and the individual is expected to be able to deal with aberrations from the norm. Additional duties may be assigned from time to time to reflect changing circumstances.

  • Assists in the development and execution of the overall marketing and sales operational plans including promotional events, print media, literature, awareness-building initiatives, direct member contact, and motivating the service-delivery personnel to provide exceptional member service.
  • Suggest, implement, and execute mission-serving graphic design projects from audience research to print.
  • Assist with copywriting, design and layout for marketing collateral including, but not limited to: brochures, direct mail, POP displays, monthly inserts, and advertisements.
  • Assists with the coordination, organization, and follow-up of newspaper, vendors, supplies, special projects, and credit union events that fall under the Marketing Department's function.
  • Secures quotes from vendors regarding printed material.
  • Create and manage creative assets for the branch lobby TVs, ATM/ITM screens, and branch EMC boards.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of key computer programs used within the field of Graphic Design to ensure that the credit union is up-to-date with the latest versions.
  • Assists with the organization of events such as trade shows, open houses, including ordering and managing Notre Dame FCU event materials.
  • Assist with social media.
  • Create and schedule emails. HTML skills a plus.
  • Copywriting required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
  • Clerical duties:
    • Enter Partner submitted testimonials on Notre Dame FCU websites
    • Assists in maintaining all marketing supplies and collateral inventory on store front
    • Print and send promotional materials to physical locations
    • Proof marketing content
    • Photocopy and scan documents as assigned
    • Assist with preparing and sending mail packages

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

Must fully understand organization’s Mission, Vision, and Strategic Business Plan. Must be familiar with all products and services and have a clear understanding of traditional and contemporary ways and means of delivering and encouraging members to use these products and services. This individual needs to be cooperative and have a positive attitude toward customers and organization staff. In addition, such an individual should be a demonstrated team player. This person must be able to meet applicable production and distribution deadlines for marketing plans, programs, and collateral materials.
