Part Time Team Member Position
15-30 hours a week
You will learn how to bake cakes, frost cakes, craft cakes, wash dishes, and customer service.

Qualifications and Skills 
ü Age: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. 
ü Education: High school diploma or equivalent is often preferred.
ü Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is needed when following recipes, reading tickets, and decorating cakes.
ü Basic Math Skills: Necessary for measuring ingredients, taking inventory, and cash handling.
ü Time Management: The ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work quickly and efficiently, especially during busy periods or when multiple orders need to be fulfilled simultaneously.
ü Communication Skills: Effective communication with coworkers, supervisors, and customers is essential for ensuring smooth operations and meeting customer needs.

ü Technology: Comfortable with new technology and has the ability to operate a point-of-sale system
 
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
ü Physical Demand: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. The role involves prolonged periods of standing, lifting heavy boxes, bags and ingredients, bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive movements.
ü Temperature Variation: The role involves exposure to cold temperatures due to refrigeration units. 
ü Handling Equipment: Employees may need to operate bakery equipment such as mixer, oven and refrigerators.
ü Fast-Paced Environment: The ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask will be required.
ü Cleanliness and Sanitation: Employees will be expected to clean work areas, equipment, and utensils regularly.
ü Teamwork: Employees should be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Work Availability:
Employee must demonstrate the flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by changing business demands.
