Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Telemetry Monitor Technician performs his or her duties directly on a nursing unit for the continuous monitoring, interpretation, communication, and documentation of cardiac rhythms and rhythm components. Additionally, this position is responsible for all telemetry-related equipment, supplies, and identifying 48 hours no ectopy patients that can be discontinued from telemetry monitor.
