Your Canvas:

• Quality Assurance
• Observe site leaders and teachers to ensure all camp protocols are implemented properly, and the quality of the camp experience exceeds NORY standards.
• Through written reports and scheduled calls, the employee reports the strengths and weaknesses of campsites and camp staff members to set coaching goals.
• Assessment and Coaching
• Observe and evaluate teachers' performance, providing constructive feedback to enhance teaching methods.
• Coach site staff members to achieve coaching goals mutually set by NORY.
• Modeling and Support:
• Work with the camp staff members to provide support when needed, including stepping in when a campsite staff member calls out.
• Communication:
• Empower teachers across all campuses to deliver NORY’s vision consistently and promptly.
• Child Development Insight:
• Apply your experience with children aged 3-12 to understand their developmental stages and interests.
• Teacher Empathy:
• Train and coach teachers to become the rock stars of our campsites by fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for both teachers and camp participants.
• Knowledge of Special Education (Plus):
• Support campers with special needs and conduct positive and effective communication with parents on 1:1 Support Service.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation: $25 - $40/hr (15-40 hours per week)
