Norwood Public Schools is seeking a dynamic candidate with effective instructional delivery and intervention techniques to serve as our Special Education Teacher. The teacher will provide holistic support to students with individual educational needs and be responsible for writing and monitoring Individual Education Plans. This position requires the teacher to instruct using the Colorado State Standards as a foundation for what we want students to know and be able to do.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Colorado State Teacher License for Teaching Positions
• Must meet Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) requirements as defined by Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)
• Must pass a general background check (BCI/FBI)
