Technology Teacher

The Norwich City School District has an immediate opening for a secondary Technology teacher for a probationary tenure-track position. The successful candidate will posses a strong ability to:

• Connect and engage through hands-on technology and engineering courses
• Effectively utilize standards to implement project-based learning courses in technology and engineering
• Implement Project Lead the Way curriculum
• Establish and maintain positive and trusting relationships with colleagues, students and the broader community
• Possess a proven ability to interact effectively with students and their families who represent cultures that are diverse in terms of race, class, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and other characteristics
• Organize and maintain a system for accurate and complete record-keeping, grading, and reporting for all student activities, achievement and attendance as required by district procedures and applicable laws
• Possess New York State Certification in Technology, grades 7-12
• Salary: $47,482 base - commensurate with education and experience
