JOB SUMMARY:

The Norwich City School District seeks an Agriculture Teacher for a probationary tenure-track position, beginning September 2024. The successful candidate will possess a strong ability to:

· Plan, create, and execute lessons in an agriculture classroom

· Collaborate to grow a beginning agriculture program and FFA chapter

· Demonstrate technological, mechanical, and agricultural skills that prepare students for future instruction

· Effectively utilize standards to implement project-based learning courses in agriculture

· Possess a valid NYS certification in Agriculture Education
