Norumbega Provisions is a Cannabis / Hemp kitchen located in Scarborough, Maine. We are looking for a full time TU-FR 9am-5pm Kitchen Staff member to join our team. The role will begin as an entry level packager but has the potential to grow. You have the opportunity to learn multiple roles with pay advances for each role trained and accepted. We have endless opportunities for growth in-house. The packaging role includes maintaining correct "counts" of goods made, maintaining a professional appearance to our packaged goods, maintaining a clean and organized work station, cleaning, and assisting with maintaining inventory of supplies.

Open, clear, and honest communication is required. We care less about your direct experience and more about your positive attitude, ability to accept feedback, willingness to problem solve, attendance, and general ability to vibe with our team. Basic computer skills needed. Training will be provided. Experience in a kitchen is helpful but not required. Cannabis industry requirements include: being over the age of 21, holding a Maine issued photo ID, and submitting to annual criminal background checks. We will reimburse for any necessary expenses (these costs are $51 annually at this time) after 90 days of successful employment.

With the possibility of growth in this role to include mixing cannabis and/or hemp concentrates, inventory management, and/or kitchen manager, anyone with a myriad of work experience, including METRIC, pharmacy techs, medical assistants, etc... should also apply.

We have a VERY close knit group of people working in our very cozy kitchen. Anyone interested in working with us will need to pass the employee vibe check. Your music tastes will come under heavy scrutiny, as we typically jam during the day and keep a lighthearted environment. You'll get a chance to meet the team before hire as well. We take our team seriously!

The pay is somewhat negotiable and commensurate with experience (cook/chef work, SERVSAFE certification, work in cannabis related field, work in medical field, experience with Gummies/Chocolate/Caramels, METRIC experience, etc...). If we love you, you prove yourself as valuable, are a team player, do a great job, are accountable to your attendance/punctuality/attitude/ and are growing in terms of your own responsibilities, then we reevaluate wages as regularly as needed (regular pay raises if you are continuing to learn and accept new roles and responsibilities).
