Paraprofessionals make $25/hr with Norton Staffing & Recruiting Group!

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Work within various settings such as classroom, group or 1:1
• Assist teachers with the implementation of lessons and any daily activities.
• Working with students on their Individualized Education Plans
• Data collection is based on the needs of the students or programs.
• Maintaining of any records based on the needs of the student and school.
• Effectively communicate with the students using their required method of communication
• Preparing the classroom for the students and teacher
• Remain engaged with students to ensure they are effectively learning.
• Supervising students both inside and outside of the classroom
• Supporting students physical, emotional, personal and academic needs
• Clerical responsibilities such as photocopying, filing, taking attendance and maintaining records.
• Track students educational and personal progress
• Partake in partial or full lesson planning.
• Assist with extracurricular activities
• Provide reinforcement to students based on their needs or based on IEP if applicable.

MUST HAVES:

• Paraprofessional Experience
• Associate's/Bachelor's Degree in related field
• Obtain a BCI/FBI Criminal History
• Obtain fingerprints
