Working under moderate supervision, utilizes the nursing process and professional standards of practice to provide for the nursing care of the patient undergoing surgery in compliance with the Indiana Nurse Practice Act, regulatory requirements, HIPPA and NKDH organizational, infection prevention, and nursing values, policies and procedures. Delivers care to patient-neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric as defined in respective unit standards.

Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing ASN or BSN program, BSN preferred. Possesses and maintains Indiana RN licensure. Certification specific to the respective unit or previous experience (PACU/ICU/ER) is preferred.
