REPORTS TO: Manager of Supply Chain
Position SummaryThe Supply Chain Coordinator is a four-tiered position (Supply Chain Coordinator I, Supply Chain Coordinator II, Supply Chain Coordinator III, and Senior) that ranges from entry-level (Supply Chain Coordinator I) to senior (Senior Supply Chain Coordinator). The Supply Chain Coordinator supports specified projects (product, integration, and customer service), reviews production plans to ensure items will be delivered on schedule, expedites critical items & services, and assists the Supply Chain Department. The role is responsible for liaising between Procurement, Assembly, Engineering, Project Management, and Customer Service, looking ahead on production dashboards, and resolving issues.
The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both autonomously and collaboratively, and to coordinate multiple ongoing tasks. The Supply Chain Coordinator works with multiple departments and suppliers and must have a desire to learn and improve new processes and concepts. The position supports Supply Chain initiatives and projects and requires experience, initiative, follow-through, and strong interpersonal skills.
The Supply Chain Coordinator is part of the Supply Chain Team for Fives Intralogistics Corp. and reports to the Manager of Supply Chain.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Liaise between Procurement, Assembly, Project Management, & Customer Service and ensure that demand is ordered and expected within the needed schedule.
  • Provide supply chain support to assigned projects (product, integration, and/or customer service), as needed.
  • Review product build reports and intercept and/or resolve potential issues impacting schedule.
  • Expedite and follow up on urgent items and manage list of same.
  • Investigates receiving & invoicing discrepancies, as needed.
  • Develop strong supplier relationships and communicate with suppliers to resolve issues, as needed.
  • Support Supply Chain initiatives, process improvement activities, and projects, as needed.
  • Create purchase orders in SAP, ensure purchase order confirmation, and track open purchase orders, as needed.
  • Support Supply Chain smart automation and other initiatives, as needed.
  • Reinforce Fives Intralogistics Corp. Core Values and drive process improvement activities.
  • Other duties that may be assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or similar area of study is preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years (for Supply Chain Coordinator I) or minimum of five (5) years (for Senior Supply Chain Coordinator) of experience in a buying role is preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years (for Supply Chain Coordinator I) or minimum of five (5) years (for Senior Supply Chain Coordinator) experience with major MRP software such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or Information Systems is preferred.
  • APICS certification (CSCP, CPIM or related) or ISM certification (CPSM) is preferred.
  • Experience with and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
  • Ability to manage time effectively with a strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, drawings/prints, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, employees, or organization.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Work EnvironmentFives Intralogistics Corp. is a manufacturer of automated sorting equipment. Employees of the company work in a light industrial environment and must follow established safety policies. TravelThis position requires limited business travel by airplane, car, and/or train and public transportation. International travel is also anticipated. The candidate must be capable of completing airplane trips of 10 or more hours. Overnight travel is estimated as <5% of the time.
