Northwestern Mutual - Des Moines is Hiring a Centralized Financial Security Analyst Near Des Moines, IA

CENTRALIZED FINANCIAL SECURITY (CFS) ANALYST

The Centralized Financial Security (CFS) Analyst works with new financial representatives to deliver financial security to their clients through a comprehensive planning process that integrates risk and investment products.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning and Case Preparation

  • Promote, utilize, and reinforce Northwestern Mutual’s planning process, tools, and philosophies
  • Analyze case notes and fact finder to identify potential opportunities
  • Prepare a PX (Planning Experience-a financial planning tool) Plan prior to client meeting
  • Ensure the PX is accurate and detailed to include all information required for the client meeting
  • Notify the financial representative of assumptions used in the plan, as well as any missing information not documented in the case notes and/or fact finder
  • Prepare additional items for client meeting (Investment Proposals, Morningstar Reports, Portfolio Illustrations, etc.), as needed

Other

  • Assist the Investment Operations Specialist with opening new accounts, investment service work, and check processing as needed
  • Continued personal growth and development on investment topics and market knowledge
  • Meet with new advisors to discuss financial plans, as needed
  • Recommend and implement process improvements in daily operations to enhance quality and productivity

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Industry Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance and/or related field
  • Experience in utilizing a planning process or methodology
  • SIE, Series 6, 63, and Life Insurance license preferred or gaining licensing within 6 months of employment
  • Experience with both brokerage and advisory platforms
  • Investment philosophy consistent with Northwestern Mutual
  • Clean compliance record and background check as determined by home office
  • Ability to assess client financial situations and analyze portfolios to develop and implement comprehensive plans aligned with client goals
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well with others
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills and ability to multitask, set priorities and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
