Job Description

The schedule for this position is 32 hours per week with occasional weekends.

The EMS Continuing Education Specialist reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

This role is responsible for the coordination of the respective EMS Systems Continuing Education Program and development of training materials. This role includes developing, scheduling and teaching on site continuing education topics.

Additional EMS responsibilities as needed such as system onboarding, testing, etc.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5 years of critical care experience.
  • One year of teaching.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a current RN License or a Paramedic license, do not need both.
  • CERT ACLS
  • CERT BLS
  • CERT PALS.

Preferred:

  • More than 5 years of critical care experience.
  • More than 1 year of teaching.
  • Previous experience in course coordination
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree
  • IDPH INSTR
