NMC is currently recruiting for an Endo Tech.This position is a regular part-time (64 hours bi-weekly) position, hours are 7:30a-4p Mon-Fri.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Endo Tech assists with patient care during outpatient procedures under the direct guidance from the provider or surgeon. They will assist with specimen collection, room preparation, scope set up and delivery of pathology for endoscopic procedures. Gi Tech will also scrub minor procedures, perform EKG, phlebotomy, re-process scopes, perform stocking and clean rooms.

PREREQUISITES:

Education: High school diploma or GED required, LPN license preferred
Experience: Prior experience as an GI tech or healthcare professional (i.e. surgical assistant) or one year experience as a Surgical Technologist.
Special Skills: Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to assist surgeons in the GI/Endo tech role.
