Northwestern Counseling & Support Services (NCSS) is Hiring a Pediatric Social Worker Near Saint Albans, VT
Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is seeking a candidate to join our dynamic and supportive Pediatric Team! The Pediatric Social Worker provides high quality behavioral health and care coordination within a Pediatric patient centered medical home. The right individual will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team to improve patient care and community outcomes. This position located in the Enosburg area in a Pediatric Primary Care Practice. We are looking for a candidate with their Master of Social Work (MSW) – free licensure supervision is available!
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Providing short term, solution-focused therapy
- Consultation with primary care providers
- Implementing screenings
- Connecting patients with appropriate services and resources
- Use of evidence-based models for brief intervention
- Collaboration with care teams and community partners
Requirements include:
- The ability to deliver high-quality patient care
- Experience in mental health and medical social work settings
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
St. Albans is a short 25-minute commute from Burlington. NCSS is located right off Interstate 89.
