Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, Texas is currently recruiting a BC/BE Psychiatrist for an employed position with NWTHS Behavioral Health, our our on-campus 106-bed mental health treatment center. For more than 50 years, NWTHS Behavioral Health has provided mental health treatment to adults, children, adolescents, seniors and uniformed service members in the Texas Panhandle and the surrounding region including Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Colorado.

Inpatient services are available for all ages and include Substance abuse services like Detoxification and Rehabilitation, Biofeedback Therapy, and the Uniformed Services Program. Outpatient services include IOP for mental health and substance use, virtula IOP for adolescents, PHP, ECT, and the Center for Mental Wellness, a specialized clinic providing a warm and welcoming environment for addressing a wide variety of conditions.

• C&A experience and/or training especially welcome

• Inpatients are split equally between the staff
• Provide Psychiatric NP supervision
• Treatment team also includes two Psychiatrists, 5 Psychiatric NPs, Psychiatric nurses, LCSWs, LPCs, & CRTs
