Northwest Supported Living is Hiring a Direct Support Professional Part-Time Swing Shift- Vancouver Near Vancouver, WA

Want to make a difference in someone's life? Looking for a PT schedule working 18-24 hours/week? You would be working with adult individuals with developmental disabilities that live in their own homes in Clark County. Caregiving experience helpful but not necessary! We provide 75 hours of paid training by experienced staff (All training is done during the daytime on Zoom- must be able to access and use Zoom).

Benefits

$20.00/hour

Sign on/Stay on Bonus: $500 after completing 90 days* $500 after completing 6 months with all training completed.

Regular schedule- work a 2 day on/2 day off/every other weekend schedule that repeats every 2 weeks. Must be able to work every other weekend.

Part time Swing examples: 2pm -11pm, 3pm-11pm, 4pm-11pm, 2pm -10pm, or 5pm -10pm

75 Hours Paid Caregiver training

Medical/Dental/Vision/HSA/life insurance benefits after 60 days** (Must work avg. 30 hours/week to be eligible for benefits)

401K matching after 1 year if benefit eligible

Key Responsibilities

-Assisting clients with their personal care- bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting/personal hygiene

-Daily tasks include light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping the home comfortable and safe for the clients

-Plan meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving meals/snacks

-Accompany clients to scheduled medical appointments

-Accompanying clients on fun community activities (movies, swimming, bowling, trips to the beach, shopping at the mall, etc.)

-Remind and assist clients with self-administration of medications

-Document services provided using computer

Requirements

-Be at least 18 Years or older

-Must be able to provide proof of completed Covid vaccination record

-Be able to Pass a Washington State Criminal Background Check

-Have basic computer skills

-Have good verbal and written skills

-Have the Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. if needed/twist, turn, stand for periods of time

-*Must be able to complete our Virtual New Hire Orientation, Core Classes and training to obtain your 75-Hour Certificate and bonuses
