Description

Northwest Respiratory Services (NRS) seeks a Data Entry Representative for our Patient Intake department in Eagan, Minnesota. NRS is a leading provider of oxygen and respiratory products throughout the Midwest and Rockies. We specialize in serving the long-term care community and oxygen dependent Veterans. This person will provide exemplary customer service to internal customers, external customers and all referral sources. Express high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Daily processing of incoming faxed and scanned orders which consist of facility and home order intakes. Make outgoing calls for additional customer information and insurance verification.

Schedule: Rotating schedule starting as early as 7:45am until 6:15pm Monday – Friday (scheduled time is set per week)

A Day in the Life:

• Process new setup orders for Oxygen and other Respiratory Equipment
• Process daily paperwork to include data entry and review, insurance verification, routing to Medical Records Department
• Interact with branches regarding customer information, orders and paperwork processing
• Become familiar with many different insurance company guidelines for coverage
• Become familiar with Brightree software as main software we work with
• Work the Not In System orders by following the process
• Distribution of faxes (paper and electronic)
• Attend 1-on-1 feedback sessions, staff meetings, annual training sessions (Bridge) and/or competency test

Qualifications

Our top candidate is:

• Previous medical experience/knowledge.
• Understanding of HIPAA laws to handle confidential personal and medical information.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Ability to be punctual and dependable with a stable work history.
• Ability to exercise good judgement on handling phone calls appropriately.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent telephone skills
• Accurate typing skills
