POSITION: NwOESC- Intervention Specialist; Full time at Edon Elementary.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold proper Ohio Department of Education Intervention Specialist licensure, or be eligible to obtain a supplemental license.

DESCRIPTION:

• Serve as primary instructor for elementary students identified with multiple disabilities
• Communicate high expectations for students and show an active interest in their progress
• Demonstrate ability to motivate and support students to achieve goals
• Provide differentiated instruction
• Ability to provide guidance and direction to paraprofessionals
• Work effectively as a team member with related service providers and paraprofessionals
• Interact positively and professionally with students, families, and educators
• Utilize positive behavior supports and interventions with students

LOCATION: Edon Northwest Local Schools (Williams County)

CONTRACT: Per School Calendar, beginning in the 2024-25 school year

SALARY: Per the adopted salary schedule based on training and experience

BENEFITS: Paid sick leave and personal days. Health, dental, vision, and life insurance are available if working over 25 hours/week. Membership in STRS retirement system.
