We are a well-established 8 doctor practice in NW Portland with a commitment to providing outstanding health care and service to our patients and their owners. In order to accommodate our growth, the hospital is looking to add a full-time staff member to our team.

Well qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate solid interpersonal skill, dependability, the ability to multi-task, and pay close attention to detail. Familiarity with basic office software and equipment is essential. This role will require the ability to work Saturdays.

This is a critical, "first point of contact" role for the hospital. To be considered for this role, you need to be able to:

• Provide customers with exceptional customer service;
• Show a high degree of sensitivity;
• Demonstrate well developed interpersonal skill and enjoy communicating with customers;
• Utilize effective listening skills, with the ability to collect useful information from owners and transmit detailed information from doctors;
• Have a reasonable degree of mastery of standard office software;
• Be able to multi-task, be organized, and get things done in a time sensitive way;
• Knowledge of basic animal handling skills;
• Be able to lift 40 pounds safely.

For this role, previous customer service experience is a must and experience in a veterinary office setting is helpful but not required. This is a full-time position, with a regular schedule of 34-40 hours/week including Saturdays. Candidate must be available to work any shift during our normal business hours. Hours: M-F 7:30 am - 6:45 pm, Saturday 8:15-2:15.

Expected Schedule: Monday thru Thursday and every other Saturday

Hourly Pay depends on previous experience.
