Northwest Medical Group is Hiring a Mgr Clinic - Residency Program Near Valparaiso, IN

The Clinic Manager provides leadership and management of the day-to-day operations of a single or group of physician practices. Responsible for staff, patient services, quality, finance and growth of the practice.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency required.
  • Associates degree/diploma in business, management or nursing preferred.

Experience:

  • Five years experience in healthcare with at least one year experience in a supervisory role preferred.

Licensure & Certification:

  • Current CPR Certification.

General Responsibilities:

  • Maintain responsibility for management of the operations of the practice. Provides leadership, direction and positive motivation for staff. Meets regularly with the practice providers and Director. Acts as liaison with inside and outside customers of the practice.
  • Review financial reports for practice and shares with providers and staff. Prepare annual operating and capital budgets and consistently monitor performance to insure budget compliance.
  • Determine staffing needs in consultation with Director and create and monitor staff schedules. Interviews and recommends candidates for vacant positions. Evaluate staff performance verbally and in writing.
  • Responsible for purchasing operational supplies and services. Coordinate and ensure the proper operation and performance of all practice equipment and facilities through repair, replacement and maintenance. Identify and report potentially hazardous situations. Take immediate action when necessary to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Develop and maintain service line or site specific policies, procedures and competencies. Maintain up to date records for competencies for all staff. Ensure all staff are knowledgeable and compliant with all organizational and site specific policies and procedures.
