Overview

The Admissions Advisor will be responsible for administering several aspects of the college recruiting and admissions process.

This role is the main point of contact for prospective students and their families and will ultimately be responsible for the movement of those prospective students through each stage of the admissions funnel, while upholding the most exceptional standard of customer service.

  • FULL ON-SITE POSITION
  • 10% TRAVEL REQUIREMENT WITH THIS ROLE.

In this position you will have the opportunity to :

Provide a superior professional experience to each prospective student and their family, maintaining a positive relationship of trust throughout each stage of the admissions funnel.

Will achieve this level of student experience by mastering the effective use of all student communication channels.

  • Manage a recruitment caseload of prospective students and guide them through the admissions process, providing them with comprehensive information on program value propositions, program information and requirements, tuition and funding options, deadlines, etc.
  • Strive to achieve established performance metrics related to the role.
  • Consistently demonstrate interpersonal skills needed to educate, motivate, and guide prospective students through their decision-making process to attend NLC, while seeking to understand their motivations and uncover barriers to their enrollment.
  • Promote optional course offerings that align with prospective student career goals.
  • Collaborate closely with Admissions team and other departments to streamline processes that ensure a cohesive experience for students from first inquiry to campus handoff.

Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to stay updated on institutional policies, program updates, and Admissions best practices.

  • Maintain subject matter expert level knowledge of company history, regional campus locations and surrounding areas, program catalog, website, educational models, industry employment opportunities, and all other value propositions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on all leads, applicants, and enrolled student data and communication in accordance with policy.
  • Uphold compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory and accreditation standards and adheres to the Admissions Code of Conduct.

Required Education & Experience :

  • Associate degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
