Northwest Hills Surgical Hospital is looking to fill its PACU RN position. Successful candidates will have the ability to complete the following job duties:

• Function as a team member and work collaboratively and interdependently with fellow team members and other departments in the hospital.

• Collaborates on a continuum the plan of care through communication with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families while addressing patient satisfaction.

• Demonstrates critical communication skills, including self-awareness, conflict management, negotiation, advocacy and listening. Leads by example.

• Preserves and protects the confidentiality, autonomy, dignity and rights of our patients and their families.

• Completes assessments and formulates an individual plan for each patient. Identifies and helps resolve ethical and clinical concerns.

• Improves nursing practice and work environment through active participation in decision making processes.

• Must have good organizational skills, work independently, educated on the use of equipment needed to perform procedures in the Inpatient Unit and Emergency Department.

• Accurately documents nursing interactions, patient outcomes and authenticating orders.

Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
