Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Assists in planning, organizing, staffing and evaluation in all areas of Radiology.
• Leads in areas of responsibility within the rules and regulations of State and Federal agencies.
• Shares responsibility for the development, interpretation, application and implementation of departmental policies, budget and strategic plans.
• Achieves departmental/ organizational objectives and improvement opportunities by providing quality diagnostic services.
• Oversees and adheres to Federal, State and JCAHO regulations.
• Maintain equipment servicing, staff licensing, and competencies.
• Assists the radiologists with reports as needed.
• Maintains staff scheduling for services offered per department procedures.
• Typically reports to a Manager or Director of Radiology.

Key qualifications for this role include:

• Degree in radiology science.

• ARRT registry required.

• ARRT registry in CT, MRI, and/or Cardiovascular preferred.

• 1-3 years’ experience in the Radiology field required.

• Prefer previous supervisory experience.
