Northwest Health Porter is Hiring a CT Tech Part Time Near Valparaiso, IN

CT Tech Part Time, Rotating Shifts, Position in the Radiology/Imaging unit at Valparaiso Medical Center (a part of Northwest Health - Porter Hospital)

NEW X-RAY GRADS WELCOME! WILL TRAIN IN CT!

  • Welcome bonus eligible up to $7,500
  • Address/Location: Valparaiso Medical Center - 1900 ROOSEVELT ROAD, VALPARAISO, IN 46383
  • Part time: 20 hours per week; Call, weekend, and/or holiday rotation may be required.
  • Earn up to $10,000 in tuition reimbursement!
  • Other incentives include: Relocation package for eligible candidates; Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k available for Full-Time and Part-Time roles.

Job Summary:

Obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. Produces computerized tomographic scanner exams of specific areas as required by the departmental procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Must pass CT registry within one year of hire date.

Education:

  • Graduate of JRCERT accredited educational program or equivalent. [Diploma Required]

Certifications:

  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or equivalent. 24 CEU/ 24 mo
  • Must pass CT ARRT registry within one year of hire date
  • Certified with the Indiana State Department of Health
  • CPR Certified
