The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing prescribed diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing radiopharmaceutical and nuclear medicine imaging equipment under the direction of a Radiologist at a technical level not requiring constant supervision; performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to utilize radionuclides for the diagnosis and therapy of disease in humans.
